7. Cash in on miles. Many of us hold on to miles for years without using them. Cash in on those miles for booking your flight. Or, if you are unable to find a seat, consider using the miles to upgrade your ticket.
8. Package deals. Many sites like Orbitz or Expedia offer great deals when you buy your airfare, hotel and car rental together. Keep in mind that the luxury properties offer the biggest discounts.
