When we think of travel hazards, we have to admit Mother Nature's fiery furnaces don't usually come to mind. That's all changed since a volcano in Iceland --one which no one can really pronounce -- began to wreak havoc on the travel industry.
If we've learned anything, it's that some people can survive for a week in an airport and others, well, weren't made to do that.
If we were stranded tourists, we'd want these items in our survival camp kits.
TSA Locks - Crowded airports can be breeding grounds for criminal activity. We'd have these handy locks on all of our bags if we were you.
- iPod and charger - How could you drown out those annoying pages without it?
- Travel Blanket - Let's face it, airports are usually like Antarctica inside. Plus, if I'm going to sleep in an airport, it better be on my own blanket.
