About 28 million Americans suffer from debilitating migraine headaches. They can occur at any time including when you travel, so what do you do about that?
Migraines are chronic episodes of mild to severe headache pain with symptoms ranging in severity from nausea to sensitivity to light or sound. If you get a migraine while you're traveling it could put you out of commission for the entire day.
While many over the counter medicines help alleviate pain, light sensitivity can continue into the day. If you're planning on getting some rest, try using a travel eye mask to block out light that can worsen your headache.
